As an RA with the Writing Enriched Curriculum (WEC) Project, I have created and continue to support our student writing sample collection project, which gathers authentic student writing samples paired with instructors’ assignments from across the curriculum.
My own writing interests lie in the similarities and differences in writing across the curriculum, and I enjoy working directly with student writers and writing instructors from all disciplines. My own background is quite interdisciplinary, with a B.S. in biology from Montana State University and an M.A. in nonfiction writing from Johns Hopkins University. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the History of Science and Technology Program at the University of Minnesota. When I am not writing, thinking about writing, or consulting with writers, I enjoy running, biking, swimming, and hanging out with my husband and daughter.
